ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Eom, Kwang Heon (1984~) is a video producer with a broad spectrum of work, ranging from the visualization of performing arts to the recording of everyday life. My theological background from Seoul Christian University and Baekseok University Graduate School informs my unique perspective on visual storytelling. Over the past six years, I have continuously directed and produced videos utilizing high-end camera systems.
I believe video directing is a narrative device rather than mere aesthetic embellishment. I value the process of capturing the meaning of time and space through precise camera work and editing. To me, the camera is an active agent of storytelling rather than a passive recording tool.
My key projects include overseeing the cinematography for the oratorio Martyres (2023, 2025) and the opera Kalea - Butalsoro (2025). Through my work, I aim to overcome the spatial limits of the stage and integrate performance and video into a single, unified artwork.
As part of my artistic practice, I am deeply committed to the conservation of environmental and marine ecosystems. In collaboration with Artfarmlk, I have planned and produced numerous music videos conveying messages of ocean protection. Currently based in South Korea, I operate 'Rabbi Studio', executing major cultural and artistic projects while engaging with the public through transparent digital archiving of the production process.

엄광헌 (EOM, KWANG HEON) | 영상제작자 & 프로듀서
엄광헌(1984~)은 공연 예술의 영상화와 일상의 기록 등 폭넓은 스펙트럼을 가진 영상제작자이다. 서울기독대학교와 백석대학교 대학원에서 신학을 전공하였으며, 이러한 배경은 작품을 대하는 나만의 독자적인 시각이 된다. 지난 6년간 하이엔드급 장비 시스템을 활용한 영상 연출과 제작을 지속해 왔다.
영상 연출은 단순한 미적 치장이 아닌 서사적인 장치라고 생각한다. 정교한 카메라 워크와 편집을 통해 시공간의 의미를 담아내는 과정을 지향한다. 나에게 카메라는 단순한 기록 도구가 아닌 스토리텔링의 주체이다.
주요 프로젝트로 오라토리오 <마르티레스(Martyres)>(2023, 2025)와 오페라 <칼레아 부탈소로(Kalea - Butalsoro)>(2025)의 시네마토그래피를 총괄했다. 영상을 통해 무대의 공간적 한계를 극복하고, 공연과 영상을 하나의 완성된 작품으로 결합하는 작업을 이어오고 있다.
예술적 실천의 일환으로 환경 및 해양 생태계 보전 문제에도 깊은 관심을 두고 있다. 아트팜엘케이(Artfarmlk)와 협력하여 해양 보호 메시지를 담은 다수의 뮤직비디오를 기획 및 제작했다. 현재 한국에서 ‘랍비 스튜디오(Rabbi Studio)’를 운영하며 국내 주요 문화 예술 프로젝트를 수행하고 있으며, 제작 과정의 투명한 디지털 아카이빙을 통해 대중과 현대적인 방식으로 소통하고 있다.
