ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Oboist Younhee HA graduated from the College of Music at Sookmyung Women’s University and went on to complete her master’s degree at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin. From her early years as a musician, she was drawn to the essence of music rather than its form—a question that deepened throughout her studies abroad. After returning to Korea, she actively performed both as an orchestral player and as a soloist, firmly believing that music should not be confined to exclusive spaces or social classes but should be experienced as a shared, public form of expression. Her performances in youth-oriented educational concerts, community events, and Korea–China cultural exchange stages are all rooted in this artistic philosophy.
Currently, she serves as the principal oboist of the Soreal Philharmonic Orchestra, where she continuously explores the balance between organic ensemble communication and individual expression. As the director of the non-profit organization Yongin Cultural Citizens’ Square, she also plans and carries out diverse projects that connect art with communities and social spaces. For her, art is never a solitary act—it must always ask how it contributes to life and to society. This question remains at the center of her musical journey.
Guided by the conviction that “music must be directed toward people,” she envisions artistic connections that transcend generations and national boundaries. She is committed to the development of new repertoire, collaborative projects with emerging musicians, and meaningful engagement with local communities—endeavoring to position music at the heart of everyday life. In the end, to move a heart with a single breath of sound: that is the essential artistic value she continues to follow with unwavering sincerity.

오보이스트 하윤희는 숙명여자대학교 음악대학을 졸업한 뒤, 독일 베를린 국립음대 한스 아이슬러(Hanns Eisler Hochschule für Musik Berlin)에서 석사과정을 마쳤다. 학창 시절부터 음악가로서 ‘형식보다 본질’에 대한 질문을 품었고, 이는 유학 생활을 거치며 더욱 깊어졌다. 귀국 이후에는 다양한 오케스트라의 단원과 솔리스트로서 활동하며, 음악이 특정한 공간이나 계층에 머무르는 것이 아닌, 누구나 향유할 수 있는 ‘공공의 경험’이어야 한다는 확신을 가지게 되었다. 청소년을 위한 해설 음악회, 지역사회 초청 연주, 한·중 문화교류 무대 등은 모두 이러한 예술 철학이 구현된 자리였다.
현재는 소리얼 필하모닉 오케스트라의 오보에 수석으로 활동하며, 앙상블 속에서의 유기적인 소통과 개인적인 표현 사이의 균형을 끊임없이 탐색하고 있다. 또한 (사)용인문화시민광장의 대표로서, 예술을 통해 지역과 사회를 연결하는 다양한 공연과 프로젝트를 기획하고 실천하고 있다. 예술은 결코 혼자 완성될 수 없으며, 그것이 삶과 공동체에 어떻게 기여할 수 있는가에 대한 질문은 늘 음악 여정의 중심에 놓여 있다.
앞으로도 ‘음악은 사람을 향해야 한다’는 주제의식을 기반으로, 세대와 국경을 아우르는 예술적 연결을 꿈꾼다. 새로운 창작 레퍼토리의 개발, 젊은 연주자들과의 협업, 지역사회와의 긴밀한 교류를 통해, 음악이 삶의 중심에 놓이는 예술로 자리할 수 있도록 지속적인 노력을 기울이고자 한다. 결국 한 줄기 소리로 마음을 움직이는 일, 나는 그 본질적인 예술의 가치를 잊지 않고 걸어가려 한다.
