대금 연주자 이창선의 손끝에서 재탄생한 이 곡은 입김에서 시작되어 단전까지 이어지는, 오직 거대한 ‘숨결’만으로 조각된 음악입니다. 이제 이 소리는 빛조차 닿지 않는 깊은 바다 ‘Abyss(심연)’로 향합니다.
대금의 깊은 울림은 거친 수압과 어둠 속에서도 굴하지 않고 나아가는 생명의 불굴의 의지, 즉 ‘Sisu(시수)’를 닮아 있습니다. 유연하게 흐르는 가락은 드넓은 대양을 항해하는 고래의 유영이 되고, 때로는 위기에 처한 바다가 내뱉는 처절하면서도 고귀한 신음이 됩니다.

Reborn through the artistry of Daegeum player Chang-seon Lee, this piece is music sculpted solely by the breath—a flow that begins as a mere puff of air and extends deep into the danjun (lower abdomen). This sound now transcends the "Light of Cheonjinam," diving into the 'Abyss'—the profound depths where even light cannot reach.
The deep resonance of the Daegeum mirrors ‘Sisu’—the indomitable spirit and resilience of life that perseveres through crushing pressure and absolute darkness.
