"Orca We Remember," is a cross-edited work featuring footage filmed in various locations, including South Korea's Jeju Island and the tense waters of the Korean Peninsula near the Military Demarcation Line, along with videos contributed by American choreographer Candice Candice Salyers @officialsouthernmiss

Set to a performance by a Woodwind Quintet and music by composer Jieun LEE, "Orca We Remember" explores the themes of the sea, marine life, whales, and the cycle of the ecosystem through the language of music.

The video deliberately incorporates parallels between the critically endangered marine mammal, the Orca (as the species is named within the video), and human musical instruments, specifically the shared characteristic of expressiveness achieved through inhalation and exhalation (breathing).

We are honored to have received top prize in the Music Video category at this international music award, which commemorates the French composer Jean-Philippe Rameau.
