Capriccio for the Geologist : Pre-Announcement:Dear Ocean Album Release
Capriccio for the Geologist
The "geologist" in the title is more than just a profession; they symbolize the initial point of encounter between humanity and nature. The Moment of Encounter:When strata hidden for tens of thousands of years are finally revealed at the geologist's fingertips, the music breaks its tension and transforms into brilliant joy. The Appearance of Vocalise:The moment the human voice (Vocalise) bursts forth, fragments of life originating from the river pass through weathering and sedimentation, finally advancing into the vast ocean. Pre-Announcement:

Upon layers of sediment that hold tens of thousands of years of unknown history, human science and Earth’s life finally meet. Beginning from the inner emotions of a geologist experiencing that brilliant moment, this piece is a classical Capriccio close to Risoluto.
This piece was inspired by the research papers of ODTIF’s scientist team—Dr. Sangwoo Ji, Dr. Dongwan Jo, and Dr. Chamteut Oh.
Focusing on the premise that "most marine pollution originates on land," the work highlights estuaries and the geologist standing upon soil accumulated over tens of thousands of years. It captures the moment a geologist encounters the brilliant history woven into the material cycles where rivers meet the sea. The music adopts the perspective of a scholar exploring geology right at this pivotal boundary—the end of land and the beginning of the ocean.
